About the piece

A short tone poem I made a few years back with lots of ii-V-Is and with a very Filipino approach to writing. This was heavily inspired by Abelardo's Cavatina for the Violin, albeit, during the creation process it diverged from the inspiration in a really big way. It was premiered during the during the Concert du Conservatoire 2022 held at the Universidad de Sta. Isabel Auditorium (USI Auditorium) on November 26, 2022. Please enjoy this new recording!😑✨
